It may be difficult initially, getting yourself out of bed but once you do and you exercise, you will feel more energized to take on the day. Research has also shown that those who exercise in the morning sleep better at night. When you workout later in the day, you cause an adrenalin rush that can be difficult to calm down when it’s time to go to sleep.
1. BOOST YOUR ENERGY:
how often you have to grab that latte on your way to work just to give you enough energy to make it through your morning mettings? According to studies there is much healthier and natural way to beat the morning energy. Exercise actually release a happy chemical in your brain know as endorphins. Endorphins are the high runners get when they push themselves on the track or the increased energy the singer gets on stage. When you workout for 30 min or longer, studies show that you can actually sustain an energy boost until the afternoon.
2. BENEFITS YOUR METABOLISM:
You roll out of bed, throw on some clothes and stumble out the door on your way to another busy day. Are you even awake yet? Your metabolism or what I like to call your idle speed certainly isn’t. Not only does morning exercise help you burn calories during the actual workout, but its effects linger after you’re finished. So by exercising in the morning you get to take advantage of this throughout the day and while it may not be much, every little bit really does count. It’s also a great opportunity to take the time to plan your day, focus on your goals and set yourself up for success.
3. YOU WILL HAVE A BETTER BREAKFAST:
A morning workout will require you to fuel your body in a way that energizes you. This means you’re much more likely to opt for that healthy smoothie instead of a muffin or fast food breakfast sandwich.
