CASTE: A hierarchy that breaks

<!––– –>

Even lord Krishna said that you don’t become a kshtriya by birth and Brahman by manners, even the kshtriya’s taught people and the Brahman’s fought in the war of kurukshetra.

Then why people are not breaking the stereotype, falling into the old unharmed legacy of the caste system. Why not break free from it, take a step forward and lean into a more evolved way of living. A mass number of people are being affected due to this system, murdered, raped, molested, youth not being given a single opportunity just because they are of lower caste, aren’t they people just like you and me, just like everyone else.

The question of why, that’s the main reason why this is all happening in a secular country like India, which is being praised for the diversity of religion it has in it. The solution is right there in front of the society, just change your mindset that’s the solution. A solution which nobody is willing to make a stand for, if this was so easy then why there are people still following the untouchable system, check the rural side of India there is still 30% of population following this system. Well how can you change someone perceived mindset, if you ask me this question the only thing you can do is to give your view point to them, throwing a bunch of facts on their face won’t change anything, it is them, themselves who can make change in their mentality. No one can force a lifestyle change to someone, they will rollback to the old model of living.

“People are not wrong in observing Caste. In my view, what is wrong is their religion, which has inculcated this notion of Caste. If this is correct, then obviously the enemy, you must grapple with is not the people who observe Caste, but the Shastras which teach them this religion of Caste.” – B. R. Ambedkar

A meritocracy hold that if you work hard enough, you can succeed in life, regardless of your race, religion, gender or social status. But a study found that children and adults who were more influenced by the caste system were also more likely to believe that their own natural aptitude, academic success, and personality were fixed or set in stone. It comes down to law of attraction, what you attract from inside is what you get. Take a deep breath and think about it, change your mindset and change India.

“I am neither a child, a young man, nor an ancient; nor am I of any caste.” – Guru Nanak
