Don’t do what the world wants you to do, do what you want to do.

I have seen many people who are just doing something because their parents want them to do it. Students are doing engineering, LLB, PMT, etc just because all their friends are doing it or because their parents want them to do it.

Parents want their children to accomplish extraordinary things by making them do the same things which millions of other children are doing. They simply don’t understand that you receive what you put in, that the output is proportional to the input. If your child is doing the same thing that countless others are doing then how can you expect a different result from him/her?  We are not born to do what we are forced to do, but what we love to do.

What is ‘PASSION’?

Your passion is something that you can concentrate on for hours, without thinking or worrying about anything else, something which gives you unlimited happiness and satisfaction.

Just for keeping matters simple, I am giving you a little example here. Suppose you fall in love with someone and then you start thinking about that person day and night. Now, that person is always on top of the priority list for you. The time flies when you are with that person. When you are with him/her, everything else fades away and all you can think about is that one person. You will encounter many beautiful people out there, who might be better than the person you love, but none of them matter to you because in your eyes he/she is the most beautiful and most important person in the world.
What I want you to understand from this example is:

Passion = ‘TRUE LOVE’
Just like the above-mentioned scenario, there are many things you can do in your life but there is only ‘ONE THING’ that is your true passion. You just need to find that ‘ONE THING’ that consumes you completely, that ‘ONE THING’ which you want more than anything else, that ‘ONE THING’ which is more important than any other thing in this world. That ‘ONE THING’ can be anything: a sport, a business, an invention. It doesn’t matter how ridiculous or unconventional it sounds to other people but if you know that this is what you love to do more than anything else, then never let go of that ‘One thing’.

Bill Gates said in an interview that he never thought about making a lot of money. He just loved creating something new and extraordinary and had a dream to revolutionize this whole world and because of his passion and his belief, he is now the richest man in the world.

Try exploring new things, find new stuff and one day you will stumble upon that ‘ONE THING’ and that day will change your life.

Power of passion:

As Steve Jobs once said “People with passion can change the world for the better”, all you have to do is ‘FIND WHAT YOU LOVE’. The only way to do great work is to find out what you love to do. If you have not found it yet, then keep looking for it and don’t settle.

All the successful entrepreneurs such as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerburg, and Warren Buffett are extremely passionate about their work and their passion helps them create an unwavering faith in whatever they are doing even in the most difficult circumstances. They don’t do what they are doing for money, they are doing it because they LOVE IT.
Nothing then this speech from STEVE JOBS can make you appreciate the ‘POWER OF PASSION‘.

If you really want to be successful then put everything else on the bottom of your to-do list and put your passion on the top.

‘LOVE WHAT YOU DO AND DO WHAT YOU LOVE BECAUSE PASSION IS THE KEY THAT OPENS THE DOOR TO JOY AND ABUNDANCE’.
