KEY CONCEPT OF CAUSE AND EFFECT

HEY GUYS,

The “KEY CONCEPT OF CAUSE and EFFECT” is one of the most confusing topic in the “DECISION MAKING”. To make the concept more clear, you just need to find, what is CAUSE and what is EFFECT, in the given question. In this concept we are going to use one simple trick to find the answer, i.e., “SO or THEREFORE”, by using this we can conclude the answer very easily.

<!– –>

But, the most important thing you need to do is PRACTICE, without doing this, we cannot find any of the answer in the given question.

<!– –>

Let’s move on to the topic of CAUSE and EFFECT,

QUESTION:-1

STATEMENT:

  1.  PEOPLE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ALTERNATIVE TO PETROL DRIVEN VEHICLES.
  2. PETROL RESERVES ARE ON THE VERGE OF DEPLETION.

OPTIONS:

  1. STATEMENT I IS THE CAUSE AND STATEMENT II IS IT’S EFFECT.
  2. STATEMENT II IS THE CAUSE AND STATEMENT I IS IT’S EFFECT.
  3. BOTH THE STATTEMENT I AND II ARE INDEPENDENT CAUSES.
  4. BOTH THE STATTEMENT I AND II ARE EFFECTS OF INDEPENDENT CAUSES.
  5. BOTH THE STATTEMENT I AND II ARE EFFECTS OF SOME COMMON CAUSES.

Just apply, “SO or THEREFORE” & try to CONNECT the STATEMENT 1 & STATEMENT 2, and then LOOK THE SENTENCE, THINK IT MAKES SENSE OR NOT.

Here, the STATEMENT 2 and the STATEMENT 1 is MAKING SOME SENSE by connecting the word “THEREFORE”. So, the STATEMENT 2 is the CAUSE & STATEMENT 1 is the EFFECT (OPTION 2).

QUESTION:-2

STATEMENT:

  1. INDIAN ECONOMY IS OBSERVING REMARKABLE GROWTH.
  2. NEWLY ELECTED GOVERNMENT, IS PUTTING ALL IT’S EFFORTS  FOR PUBLIC WELFARE.

Here ,the STATEMENT 2 and the STATEMENT 1 is MAKING SOME SENSE by connecting the word “THEREFORE”. So, the STATEMENT 2 is the CAUSE & STATEMENT 1 is the EFFECT (OPTION 2).

QUESTION:-3

STATEMENT:

  1. THE STUDENT ‘X’ OF XYZ SCHOOL WAS SUSPENDED FOR HIS MISBEHAVIOUR.
  2. THE PERFORMANCE OF ALL THE STUDENT’S OF XYZ SCHOOL WAS EXCELLENT.

IN BOTH THE SENTENCE, BY USING “THEREFORE”, IT’S NOT MAKING ANYKIND OF SENSE, SO JUST LOOK AT THE OPTIONS & TRY TO SOLVE IT.

(OPTION 5) BOTH THE STATTEMENT I AND II ARE EFFECTS OF SOME COMMON CAUSES.

QUESTION:-4

STATEMENT:

  1. THE GOVERNMENT HAS OPENED TWO HOSPITALS IN THE BEGNNING OF THE YEAR.
  2. PEOPLE WILL GET GOOD MEDICAL ATTENTION.

HERE, YOU WILL SURELY GET CONFUSED, BUT JUST THINK, IF THERE IS “SHOULD” THEN STATEMENT 1 IS EFFECT & STATEMENT 2 IS CAUSE.

BUT, HERE IT’S WILL , SO “STATEMENT I IS THE CAUSE AND STATEMENT II IS IT’S EFFECT” (OPTION 1).

QUESTION:-4

STATEMENT:

  1. IN KASHMIR, DUE TO BOMB BLAST MANY SCHOOLS IN THE AREA HAD TO BE KEPT CLOSE FOR A WEEK.
  2. MANY TEACHERS HAVE RESIGNED FROM THE SCHOOL.

BASICALLY, WE DO NOT KNOW THE REASON FOR THE RESIGNATION OF THE TEACHERS FROM THE SCHOOL, IN THE GIVEN QUESTION. BY, CONNECTING “SO/THEREFORE” ALSO IT DOESN’T MAKE ANYKIND OF SENSE. SO, BOTH 1 & 2 OPTIONS ARE NOT POSSIBLE.

NOW, YOU JUST LOOK AT THE REMAINING 3 OPTIONS AND SEE ANY KIND OF “COMMON CAUSE OR INDEPENDENT CAUSE” ARE THERE OR NOT.

(OPTION 5) BOTH THE STATTEMENT I AND II ARE EFFECTS OF SOME COMMON CAUSES.

<!– –>

HENCE, WE CAM ETO THE END OF THE “KEY CONCEPT OF CAUSE AND EFFECT”, TRICK BEHIND THIS CONCEPT IS “SO OR THEREFORE”, YOU CAN USE EITHER OF THE WORD, WHICH IS COMFORTABLE FOR YOU. IF YOU CANNOT ABLE TO FIND, “CAUSE AND EFFECT”, JUST GO FOR THE OPTIONS. AND, IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR TIME IN YOUR EXAM, “DO PRACTICE” SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE APPEARING TO YOUR EXAM.

ALL THE BEST, GUYS

AGNIRA
