The craze of Cricket World Cup!!

<!––– –>

Cricket is undoubtedly the most popular sport in India and when it comes to ICC cricket world cup ,it is conducted once in four years with millions of people hoping for their country to win.

This tournament is the grandest of all where all teams fight for claiming the title of being the best in 50 overs cricket.

Earlier 16 teams used to be a part of it but if we talk about 2019 world cup only 10 teams are seen participating.

Different nations come together to play and support their country. Cricket world cup is still considered a feast or festival.

You see the best part of World Cup is that the whole family with full enthusiasm and excitement watch the matches together praying for our nation. The beauty of this is that we do not see cricketers or the teams on the basis of caste or religion but only as INDIANS.

This sporting event cannot be compared to other sports keeping in mind the passion and the amount of money spent on it .

The excitement of the audience while our favorite cricketer is on the pitch showing our affection and love towards them.

World cup not only teaches us team spirit but also how the cricketers first play for the country and then for themselves.

Indian cricket team has brought laurels to our country many times.

When India won world cup in 1983 and 2011 ,the whole country celebrated the teams’s victory with full joy and it seemed like a major festival in India. The team members were on the 9th sky after winning the match.

In 1983 when India had no hope of win, the former Indian Cricket Team captain Kapil Dev came as a savior to the team and scored 175 runs as against West Indies.

The last ball six of MS Dhoni in 2011 final match which became the highlight of the world cup game which was also the last world cup of the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

The World Cup is truly the biggest sporting event in the world, not only by the fact that it has the most viewers but also the number of people connected to it.

This year our cricketers are performing very well and we wish more power to them hoping they will bring one more World Cup to our country.
