1.Increasing memory (RAM) is the quickest way to add a bit of ZIP to your system.
2.Like all of us, a computer tends to slow down if it has been in continuous use all day. Restarting the computer system is often enough to bring it back to peak condition.
3.When using demanding programs (such as games or DTP applications) turn off background activities such as prompts and instant messaging software.
4.Routinely defragment your hard disk by clicking on start, Program’s, Accessories and disk defragmenter on windows pc’s. This will help improve your computer system”s efficiency reducing wear and tear.
5.Do not click on the ‘X’(close button) in the top right hand corner of the window to close a program.Use the close or Exit command usually found under the file menu.
6.Do not load any more software onto your system than it is strictly neccassary, and uninstall the programmes you no longer use.
